In the latest Republican tactical move, Republican Senator Tom Coburn (OK) introduced an amendment that Congress be required to enroll in the Public Option. He was joined by Republican Senator David (I like lingerie, lace & prostitutes) Vitter (LA).

That gambit backfired on them. Why? It seems that there were some Democratic Senator lawmakers willing to take the Repugs up on their offer of a Public Option. They included: U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Christopher Dodd (D-CT), Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Al Franken (D-MN).

The One-Minute YouTube VIDEO below shows Democratic Senator Al Franken (D-MN) requesting for Unanimous Consent on the floor of the U.S. Senate that the aforementioned Democratic senators be allowed “co-sponsorship” of Republican Senator Tom Coburn’s Public Option amendment.

The request was GRANTED! Hoo-boy! Now what are the Repugs gonna do???
