BP knew 11-hours before the oil rig blew up that they had not undertaken the “final” test to check the ultimate safety of their underwater oil site. Instead, BP told the contractor to skip that test. BP knew full well that without this test there was no way to be sure that should an oil eruption occur underwater that they had the necessary safety precautions in place to deal with such an occurrence.

I say we get Dick Cheney down there in a one-man/one-way submersible deep-sea sub with one hour’s worth of oxygen and park it right next to the entrance to this pipe and record his last “moments.”  This would be the ULTIMATE undisclosed location for him.  Better yet, why not just stuff him into the pipe opening, his corpulence should shut this sucker down instantly.  Dick’s 2001 behind-closed-doors Energy Task Force meeting at the White House has still never been disclosed fully.  It is this event that has now led us to this catastrophic predicament.
