Appearing on NBC’s “Meet The Press” this morning Alan Greenspan (former Federal Reserve Chairman) had this to say about the Republicans’ efforts to continue the tax cuts (for the ultra-wealthy elites) which are scheduled to expire at year’s end:

“You don’t agree with Republican leaders who say tax cuts pay for themselves?” asked NBC’s David Gregory.

“They do not,” Greenspan replied firmly.
