Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid this week came out and all but accused “Willard” Mitt Romney of being a tax cheat.  According to Reid’s “inside” sources at Bain Capital, the private equity firm co-founded by the Willardster, Mr. “Salt Lake City” himself hadn’t paid taxes for 10 friggin’ years!

What’s up with that?  Say it ain’t so, “Willard”.

“Willard” responded by saying “put up or shut up”  Harry.  Tell me your sources.

Harry ain’t backing down.  He’s got his inside sources and they appear to be rock-solid.

When you listen to the audiotape of “Willard’s” refutation of Reid’s claim – he says he’s paid taxes, a lot of taxes.  However, any lawyer worth their salt will point out that “Willard” left out a significant word  –  “INCOME”.   He could have phrased it as – I’ve paid income taxes, a lot of income taxes.  BUT he didn’t. That “word” INCOME was intentionally left out by the Romnster.  A very revealing choice of words.

Reid, a fellow-mormon, is usually the most meek and mild of politicians. However, there is one thing that will turn him into a tiger:  when you lie to him. This is what we’re seeing being played out here.  Reid’s inside sources at Bain are saying one thing and the “Mittster” is saying another.

It all boils down to the brazenness and audacity of Romney to “commandeer” American campaign rules of the game in order to pursue the highest office in the land on his own “special” terms by withholding information that NO presidential cabinet nominee would ever get away with.  The real reason for Romney Boy not coming clean with the American people is that what would be revealed by an open examination of his tax returns would be far more damaging than his current stonewalling.

This writer thinks that Reid has Romney in his sights and has pegged Romney as a sure-fire income tax dodger.

You can run Mr. Romney, but you can’t hide.
