It’s a “split” decision.  Today’s “Wanker-Of-The-Day” AWARD will have to be shared by BOTH the NRA’s (National Rifle Association) Top Lobbyist, Wayne LaPierre AND the House of Representative’s Republican Speaker, John Boehner (OH).

They’re both CONSERVATIVES and BOTH certifiable – equally NUTS!

John Boehner ‘Not’ Concerned About Losing Speakership After ‘Plan B’ Failure

Yesterday, House Speaker John Boehner yanked his “own” ‘Plan-B’ tax proposal from even being voted on after it failed to garner a sufficient number of GOP Tea Party “supporters”.  How “impotent” is this idiot from Ohio – (I can say that, I’m from Ohio).

And to quote John Boehner directly from today:

. . . “I don’t think — they weren’t taking that out on me,” he continued. “They were dealing with the perception that somebody might accuse them of raising taxes.”

.

“Earth” To “John” – you’ve ALREADY agreed to HIGHER TAXES – i.e., a tax “hike”.  The question, NOW, JOHN – is “where” this would start (at $250,000, $400,000 – or $1,000,000 (the starting point in YOUR own Plan “B” tax proposal).

Not to “beat this particular point to death” – but JOHN – in essence – you’re basically saying – that – despite agreeing earlier this week to HIGHER taxes on “some” U.S. wage earners – NOW – your dictate is merely to follow your GOP Tea Party members who are dealing with the “perception” that somebody might accuse them of raising taxes.  In effect, basically we’re right back to square one, NO tax increases at all.

If either  man had any self-respect, dignity or “class” – they would BOTH resign their respective positions and allow history to move forward.

In Boehner’s case, his own party may very well “remove” him as Speaker in January – he’s been completely ineffectual ever since he became House Speaker.

.

As for LaPierre, maybe there will be some sort of a “revolt” among the 4+ million NRA members for a change in the “direction” in the lobbying efforts of those of the ilk of LaPierre.

One thing is for sure, the ante has been so “upped” to the extremes that there will most certainly be heavy political “carnage” at the doorstep of the GOP in the very near future.
