The GOP, under House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), will be going the way of the Whig Party in 1854 (it was supplanted by the Republican Party). John Boehner is the ultimate “clusterfuck”, he is a headless chicken without an absolute clue.

There are way more than 100 House Republicans willing to get the budget deal done and raise the debt ceiling but they are stymied by a mere two-dozen rock-ribbed Tea Party GOP stalwarts in the House who will gladly go to hell to raise hell and bring this country down to its knees.

God help us, all! I don’t think ANYBODY has a fucking clue as to how to proceed from here on in. We can only HOPE that the 100+ House Republicans will finally join the 200 House Democrats to form a new working majority and elect a new Speaker (it’ll most likely have to be a Republican) who is more reasonable, grown-up and adult-like than the dry-drunk, self-centered and self-promoting John (“Boner”) Boehner.

As far as the next 3-years, unless the House of Representatives is salvaged, you can stick a fork in it!
