It’s All Obama’s fault. The Russian “infiltration” of our 2016 election is ALL Obama’s fault. He was president. He knew some “stuff” was happening, didn’t he? He could’ve just gone on television in September/October-2016 & “blurted” out everything. Or could he? Hmmmmm . . . . .
.
No, that wouldn’t have prevented the “damage” already done to the 2016 election process! The Russians would have just continued using Facebook & Twitter all the way up to November 8 — in those “critical” Rust-Belt, Midwestern states — (Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania) — that Trump won by just a total of 77,000 votes. Obama would’ve been accused of undue partisanship and actively promoting Hillary Clinton at the expense of Donald Trump.

The real onus lies with the Trump campaign. They actively cooperated with the Russian operatives to target and shower various key precincts in those upper mid-west/rust-belt states with Facebook & Twitter bot-powered anti-Hillary/pro-Trump social media propaganda, especially in the last several weeks of the 2016 campaign where those electronic bursts of cyber activity were virtually nonstop each & every day.

We know that as early as May-2016, one of Trump’s foreign policy staffers – George Papadopoulos – while extremely inebriated – blabbed to Australia’s top diplomat in London that “they” – (the Trump 2016 campaign) – had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton provided by Russian government-sanctioned operatives. We also saw Trump himself in mid-July 2016 publicly call on Russia to “find” those missing 33,000 Hillary Clinton emails. We know that Carter Page, a senior Trump campaign aide in charge of the Trump foreign policy portfolio had been under surveillance by the FBI as far back as 2013 by the FBI for consorting with Russian intelligence agents! And lastly, we know that Paul Manafort, who took over as Trump campaign manager in May-2016 – would have been “busted” early on had any routine background vetting of him been carried out which would have uncovered his extensive ties to the Ukraine government and its president – Yanukovych – and his millions in payments from that country for his lobbying services on behalf of Yanukovych – a close ally of Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

Let’s not forget Michael Flynn and his “out-in-the-open” forays to Moscow in late 2015 and who was paid for his television appearances there by Russian “entities” in league with President Vladimir Putin. Not to mention Flynn’s paid lobbying services on behalf of Turkey’s beleaguered President — Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — and the military coup he was forced to deal with in his own country. Flynn performed all these services while serving as a senior aide in the Trump 2016 campaign and all during the presidential transition period after the November 8th election — & which were most assuredly well-known by senior Trump campaign officials.

Oh, and let’s not overlook the September-2016 meeting in Trump Tower between the 3 top Trump campaign officials — Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner & Donald Trump, Jr. on the one hand and half a dozen Russian operatives on the other — including the lady Russian lawyer who had been advertised by Trump, Jr.’s good friend — Rob Goldstone — (who himself had made the necessary arrangements to set up the meeting in the 1st pace) — as having “dirt” on Hillary Clinton that would greatly help the Trump campaign and which was the only reason that these top Trump campaign officials attended in the first place.

So, the entire Trump campaign was a Trojan horse operating within the 2016 American presidential campaign. They demonstrated time and time again that they were more than ready, willing & able to work with (collude with ) their Russian counterparts (a foreign state) to advance the cause of their candidate, Donald Trump, and thwart that of Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Nowhere is there any evidence, WHATSOEVER, of a 400-lb. guy sitting on his bed somewhere in New Jersey “hacking” into the DNC’s or John Podesta’s (Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Mgr.) computer servers. Nor is there any similar activity by China or any other country or entity in the world, for that matter – only Russian “operatives” – operating either here in the United States or back in St. Petersburg, Russia – in a troll farm facility.

Trump was at that time and still is at this time — Putin’s useful “stooge”. Trump supporters are Putin’s little “pygmies”. BTW, those supporters are 97% white – so draw your own conclusions. 2018 & 2020 will see even more Russian “interference” via social media & other forms of manipulation within our electoral system. It would be a whole lot easier if it was just some 400-lbs folks in Bayonne, New Jersey – situated above a pizza shop!
