Trump – via his Secretary of State – Mike Pompeo — (the “stiff” in the picture up above) — reached a deal with the Taliban in Feb.-2020 — which set the date for the U.S. withdrawal of all its troops from Afghanistan — as of May 1, 2021.   AND, there were no “pre-conditions” imposed upon the Taliban for the withdrawal of U.S. troops – ONLY – that Afghanistan would NOT be used as a staging ground for future terrorist attacks upon/against the rest of the planet!
